The 1.8 turbo, 4-cylinder, 150 hp engine combines the use of a high compression ratio, low displacement and unique 5-valve design for optimal Power and Performance. It is the enthusiast's current favorite among New Beetle engines. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available. Wheels The 17-inch "Take Five" alloy wheels with orange inserts contribute to a snazzy car that is very together. They are mounted on 225/45 17 all-season tires. Steering Wheel Your customers will get a kick out of getting their hands on the black leather steering wheel with orange stitching.
Got orange leather? These are the same height-adjustable front sport seats but with a splash of orange in the center portions. Customers will get eye candy galore as well as fully reclining seats that provide comfort and help achieve "oneness" with the corner. Monsoon® Sound System Get the sound! The Monsoon® Sound System is custom-designed to the acoustic environment of the New Beetle. Its eight specially tuned and positioned speakers and 200-watt, eight-channel amplifier provide a dramatic clarity over a wide volume range—a perfect enhancement to this unique edition of the New Beetle. Leather Door Panels Suave leather door panels with orange-stitched black inserts contribute to the "snap" in the New Beetle Snap Orange. Armrest and Brake Grip A comforting armrest blends in nicely with the front sport seats. The black leather brake grip with orange stitching compliments the pulled-down armrest. More "Snappy" Features Orange-stitched black floor mats, an orange passenger grab handle on the dashboard, and orange-stitched head restraints are also integral parts of the New Beetle Snap Orange. Not shown, but an equally important feature is the manual lumbar support. And, in the five-speed manual transmission, the intricate orange stitching appears in the black leather shift boot and knob. Orange never looked so good. What else can we say? Cold Weather Package As if the warmth of the color weren't enough, the front sport seats are heatable, adding comfort and convenience. Thumbwheel switches allow front seat occupants to regulate heat to the individual seats. Heated washer nozzles prevent washer fluid from freezing, helping the driver maintain good visibility in adverse weather conditions. |
