I take a lot of pictures and they say a photo is worth a thousand words. So I have decided to show off some of the better ones I have done that have been scanned. This by far only a small sampling.

I vacation a lot in Ireland. This picture is of St. Mullins overlooking the mound that was used to watch the rivers for invading Vikings. It has been built about 9 times and destroyed 7 times by Vikings. It is over 600 hundred years old.

Another photo of St. Mullins. This circle of stones is all that remains of the tower the monks would escape to to defend themselves against invaders

This was taken on the grounds of Killkenny Castle Ireland.

I know it's a wall... but the little stone in the middle now sits on my fireplace mantle.. I wanted to bring back a part of this old church before it completely fell to ruins.

Thanks to my good friend Breda, She reminded me that this is Ullard, also located in Co. Kilkenny.

My niece Miss. Jackie telling me to stop taking her picture.

I'm pretty sure this is Jerpoint Abby in Co. Killkenny Ireland. My friend Breda Delaney (now Barcoe) was nice enough to pick me up for the day and drop me off at these ruins on her way into town for shopping.

These are Breda's 2 youngest kids that came with us that day.  The other 3 where in school that day so they couldn't come. Which I realized is why she goes shopping on this day like she did, and would not have to drag them with us.

Why bother them with content, when you can annoy them with substance?
